MCL Venture Training Studio
Learn market creation fundamentals and how to apply Integrative Venture Engineering via live ventures
About the Studio
Learning from live ventures
The MCL Venture Training Studio hosts cohorts of Entrepreneurs-in-Residency (EIRs) who follow a 16-week process architecting ventures using Integrative Venture Engineering (IVE).
- EIR cohorts apply IVE to a problem or technology of their choosing under the guidance of expert venture architects.
- The cohort works collaboratively through a series of sprints guided by the MCL core team, to solve for the 10 core architectural requirements for market creating ventures.
- Each sprint kicks off with a review of key concepts and tools and concludes with the cohort sharing their work and learning from the sprint.
- Throughout the process, the MCL community can track the cohorts progress, and learn from what and how the EIRs build in each sprint, with periodic opportunities for live engagement between the the cohort and community as well.
- The ventures being architected also serve as live case studies for MCL working groups. As an example, investors in the Evaluating Early Stage Ventures working group are leveraging insights from the Summer 2025 Venture Training Studio to innovate improved venture screening and due diligence processes for their portfolios.
